This piece makes me happy. When i was a kid my parents took us camping. I have so many fond memories of camping in tents and various trailers over the years.
The sise of this piece is 24" by 48"
I have also made a variation of this piece called THE FOREST VACATION!
years ago i painted 2 abstract paintings relating to camping.

i really like your work! it looks wonderful. i love the houses and trees, great shapes. there's a happiness going on, but i see a touch of bleakness too. good balance/interplay of that. it's good to think about shelter and nature. there's lots of life in the forms. the designs of the natural wood in the background say much. i saw your stuff at the vic cafe and it looked so great. so much in the details. thanks.
